Why us

What actually separates us from the next quote you get

Six things worth checking against any other caterer you are speaking to.

Cooked at your venue, not delivered cooked

Our brigade cooks on site and finishes on the counter. Food does not sit in a van in Pune traffic between the kitchen and your guests.

Full Japanese service, cooked here

A sushi chef rolling maki and slicing nigiri in front of your guests, with a vegetarian selection that outsells the fish at most Pune weddings.

22 live counters you can book one at a time

Chinese wok, tandoor, chaat, sushi, dosa, biryani handi, dessert, mocktail, chai and paan. Book one counter or build the whole spread from them.

Jain, satvik and vegan on their own lines

Separate utensils, separate oil and separate equipment — not the same menu with the onion removed at the last minute.

Our own equipment and brigade travel

Counters, chafing gear, crockery and staff load in from our own stores, which is why a Lonavala or Khandala resort wedding is the same service as a Koregaon Park lawn.

One named supervisor per event

The same person holds the timing sheet from load-in to clearance, so there is never a question about who to ask on the day.

What we do

One kitchen, every cuisine Pune asks for

Italian

Wood-fired pizzas, hand-rolled pasta and antipasti built by chefs trained in classic Italian technique — finished live in front of your guests.

Chinese

Cantonese and Sichuan classics cooked on high-flame wok stations, with dim sum steamed to order and sauces made in house.

Japanese

Sushi, sashimi and robata grilling by chefs who plate to order — one of the few Pune catering teams doing full Japanese service on site.

Korean

Korean BBQ tables, bibimbap bowls and house-fermented kimchi — a standout menu for younger crowds and brand launches.

Thai

Curries, wok tossed noodles and Thai salads made with fresh lemongrass, galangal and kaffir lime flown in weekly.

Lebanese

Mezze spreads, charcoal shawarma and freshly baked pita — a favourite for sundowners and cocktail evenings.

Mexican

Taco bars, nachos and slow-cooked fillings with salsas made fresh on the day — high-energy food for parties and offsites.

North Indian

Punjabi and Mughlai classics from tandoor and handi — the backbone menu for Pune weddings and large family functions.

South Indian

Live dosa and appam counters, Chettinad mains and filter coffee — done properly, with batter ground fresh.

Gujarati

Traditional Gujarati thali service with farsan, seasonal shaak and hot puris straight from the counter.

Rajasthani

Royal Marwari fare — dal baati churma, gatte and laal maas — served with authentic thali presentation.

Maharashtrian

Authentic Marathi menus from puran poli to malvani seafood, prepared by cooks from the Konkan and Vidarbha belts.

Jain

Strict no-onion, no-garlic, no-root-vegetable kitchens with separate equipment and supervised prep.

Mughlai

Slow-cooked kormas, dum biryani and kebabs from a brigade trained in Awadhi and Mughlai technique.

Continental

Grills, roasts and refined plated courses for cocktail evenings, awards nights and intimate dinners.

Pan Asian

One counter, many kitchens — sushi, dim sum, khao suey, satay and wok stations under a single Pan Asian spread.

Pricing

Catering cost per plate in Pune

Welcome Caterers quotes ₹450–₹2,200 per plate across Pune, Pimpri-Chinchwad, the Lonavala-Khandala belt and Panchgani-Mahabaleshwar, for bookings of 100 guests and above. Where you land inside that depends on the number of live counters, the proportion of non-veg and premium proteins, and how long the service window runs. Every enquiry gets a written per-plate quote against your actual guest count — we do not quote a rate without knowing the date, the venue and the headcount.

Planning

What your guest count actually needs

The starting point we work from before the menu conversation. Counter numbers move with the service window — a 60-minute corporate lunch needs more stations than the same headcount spread over three hours.

Call +91 96731 98867 for a written quote against your actual guest count.
